WORTH MEASURING

My grand mother would always share her generations story about how blessed they are to experience the good life. A life that is free of pollutions and healthy foods that is pocket friendly. Compare these days that  coins cannot go any further aside from candy. Grandma's description of livable and healthy way of living that they have once enjoy is of far from what I can witness today. While in my generation, to have a comfortable, safe , healthy life, means investing your money to achieve a livable life.

WHENEVER TEMPTED

An intercessor once told me that the power of the holy spirit help people be over comer if we ask for it. If cry out for it, then the healing power and the restoration is at hand. And so , my journey begins for the search of inner peace, joy and all other aspect that I can use as a tool in dealing with different kinds of people. You know what lesson I have learned? It's hard to walk with God when your just doing it because of fear that you might cause an offense. Don't get me wrong, I do not have issue on following rules, its just that in my own experience , if your not happy with being obedient tendency you will soon be burn out return the old way so the other application is that, do it for love, I mean be obedient because you love God and you wanted to honor Him, and not of compliance.

Sometimes as they say, men stumble first, before he realize his foolishness. But when it turn right, it turn 360 degree that at the end, the real blue print intended for him is serve. But not all story are like that, because the call of this world is so strong that its hard to resist on temptation surrounding everywhere. Mine, has no difference from others, who accepted God as their Christ and savior. I remember the line of Peter Parker, where he says " Of great power comes of great responsibility". So as to re phrase " Of more digested knowledge on  truth , of more the expectation to live and share it. 

If temptation taste bitter at its first bite, I wonder if it will have the power to tempt the second time around. lol! it might turn out to be your phobia. 

THE GOOD HABIT

My usual routine during my free time includes , watching movies , eating, sleeping and reading and I enjoy doing those activity.There are times that when I am hooked up with a particular movie and I learned that it is a series and have a book as well ,I am not satisfy until I have not read the book. I tend to search for audio books where I can download and  can read more here when I have chance to re visit and continue my scanning  on the book. I have so many files now waiting for my eye to feast. They say reading is a good habit because it helps people in so many ways. For me it helps  me improve my vocabulary and  imaginary dot in my brain.

DISTURBING AD CAMPAIGN

Have you notice those billboards in Edsa ? Some of the billboards  displayed  on the side of the roads gives  clouds to minds of other viewers, some of them are very provoking, their getting bolder and bolder, flesh are bare. Aren't they distracting to the motorist eye? I am wondering how many accident has been  reported  already because of those gigantic billboard campaign flaunt in full detail in the the heart of Edsa.  What was the concept behind this campaign ? So daring, I can't help but think its promoting sensuality. Are they really  meant  that way?  to draw attention on passer by . I know to some, they call  it art, But since not everyone has the same interpretation with what they saw on ad campaigns. It's like saying that its okay to bare  your  all, when you have to flaunt. Some minds are being polluted , they would entertain other thoughts" while staring at those billboards, others may become so idealistic others may think, "returning to temptation is cool" like what  is said on one of the ads here. Do they really have to go this far?

BATTERY FULL

Its almost midnight now , yet I'm still energize. I just hope tomorrow I will not look like a wet chick in front of the congregation while our pastor in the office feed us word of God, before proceeding in our own work area. I suspect I overslept this afternoon, as I take a nap after lunch. When I woke up, the sun was hiding already. I check the clock hanging on my wall , I was asleep for 4 hours, then  I decided to continue my blog hopping, and until now, I'm here in front of the monitor with eyes wide awake. Hehe. 

Somehow there is a good benefit out of this energy I have tonight. You see, I was able to visit my blogger friends and  had time to update my posting here and do my pending task , which I  fail to accomplish these fast few days. What will happen tomorrow is still yet to know, I will just let myself deal of tomorrow. For now, I'm done with my  updates here, and it's really time now for me to jump in bed, though I am not  sleepy yet. Help me Lord. Let me sleep sound tonight, to face tomorrow with smile:-).

ANOTHER FREE MAN

Also after hearing the news about the acquittal for the suspects of Vizconde Massacre, I also learned that, another favor was given to a complained video grapher of his own sex scandal that involves a sexy starlet. Hayden Kho was acquitted in the case of  his video sex scandal, and His professional license where confiscated two years ago, so he was not allowed to practice his profession because of the moral ethics he has violated.  But again, He is now a free man, he can now practice his field of expertise, plus he also launched a new line of business. What can you say to this?  As for me , Can't say I'm happy for his acquittal, because I'm a woman  and my sympathy goes to the woman he has wronged, regardless if the complainant has  given her  permission to do it or not, still his act is not acceptable some woman was demoralized because of that case, if not all. I hope it won't happen to any woman again. Peace , and Happy holiday

GIFT SUGGGESTION

The day is coming near to let us all celebrate the holiday season, and as of now, I still not have completed the gifts for my loved ones and friends, I could not think of something  special that matches the personality  of  my loved ones. I even search the net to find out whats trending for gifts this Christmas, my friend suggest to give me idea on what to buy for my family and friends, the other says I try to give a hat as a gift. While others suggested that I buy them books and games or  scarf, pouches. They are all  brilliant as a gifts , and even if its the cheapest, It's the thought that counts.

IS IT BAD?

I purchased a bed sheet and didn't like the color when I get home, so the other day I went back to the mall and asked the sales representative for a new style. Then I  proceed to the appliance section to buy a blender, but this time I was pissed off because the customer service can't give me the warranty seal for the item I bought. They just keep on telling me that I already had the receipt and its already a proof. I did not agree with them, because the lettering's on the receipts fade after a few months. And it irritates me more when they told me to xerox the receipt so that I can have a copy. Then that's when I started to argue and question their job, I even asked for the name of the customer representative in charge. After calling their supervisor I got the warranty seal and the official receipt and not the counter receipt, much better.

Second incident, After the shopping I asked my friend to eat in the nearby food chain, When it was my turn I noticed that my order was not that proportion on the standard measurement. So I asked the cashier to replace my order with the same menu in their standard measurement and there you go, I was satisfy  to accept my order.

As I was reflecting tonight, I am weighing those incidents if I overreact on those situation or Am I just a commoner. But even so, I only wanted a fair and good service that I deserve, my attitude did show up because I was not satisfied with their service. I believed it's their responsibility to take care their clients and I was one of them, I burst out because they don't listen to me and don't pay much attention. But I'm not claiming that I am all right,and they are all wrong, I should have stay calm, but I wasn't able to do my part. Understanding their side, I realized that maybe their job is not that easy, and all they wanted also is to give their best service but somehow they failed from time to time, but that doesn't mean they can't give good result to other clients. Well, peace be with me.

WHY GO FOR EXTRA MILES?

Whats the pay off of doing extra miles ? They say that , when you give more than is expected you are more likely to : receive bonus , what a good reward' isn't it? You will receive promotions at work, given extra benefits and raise on your salary. A very nice to the ear, a lovely music to play over and over again. Another benefits of doing extra miles on our work is that , you won't need to worry about job security, you will always be the first to hired, and the last to fired. You will make more money and attract lifelong loyal customers if your in the business. You'll feel more satisfied at the end of the day. Indeed its nice to reflect every night knowing that you've done your best for the day and that you become productive.

CONNECTING THE DOT

I have planned my absence on our community life tonight, but when I was already ready to go home my singles group drag me to the conference room and promised me that we will go home early after the report. But of course the time was not strictly followed, anyway it's okay because I have learned a good points to ponder tonight. During our comlife this evening, Our mentor showed us a video of Steve Jobs, A maker of Apple Mackintosh. While watching his commencement speech , His word strikes me, he said " You can never connect the dot by looking forward, and you can only connect the dot by looking backward" . Very true, with what his story end up, He could not be the Steve Jobs today that everyone is admiring if he did not mess up with his life and by looking backward, he used his bad experience to transform it into a good one. I really like his words of wisdom, so inspiring. To add up, he also says that, never never settle to things that you know your not happy but you are comfortable, keep looking for the thing that you love to do, because it is the way to become successful in your field. 

ROAD TRIP

I am privilege to share my experience of my out of town trip here and our road trip going to those tourist spots in in Palawan. We stay there for four days and I could really say I had fun viewing the nature from outside the window of our van, heading to the places we want to see and experience. I'm happy to share that we have seen those places on our own eyes which we only saw on television. We have a good ride though some roads are not yet concrete, I am glad that everything turns good but I think would be more better if we have rv towing that is just a phone call away if things went out bad as it rains almost everyday during our stay in the province.

But I thank God, because during our sight seeing there, rain did not spoil the fun, and rain would only start pouring out when were already inside the van and already reached the hotel.So over all, we left the place with hopes to come back again for a second trip.

UPGRADING FOR THE BETTER

I use to shop for my grocery needs at home every cut off , a bad confession to tell is that  no matter how hard I tried  to resist spending on stuff that are not  listed in my grocery list , I still fall on giving my mind a reasoning. Poor me, because I have to sacrifice my savings to satisfy my wants.And one of my practices that I religiously do is keeping my receipts for  my future references. 

But I get headache trying to figure out those items that I buy on some receipts that I have kept before. Why is that such a big supermarket don't give a good quality kind of transaction purchases?. I'm not sure if they are aware of  their transaction receipts quality. If I may suggest with their management, why not buy a good quality ink printer like of  epson receipt printer that other competitors are using. This way, receipts can be a good reference to their customers when monitoring  prices of the items from  previous to current purchases. Its now  time to upgrade to get along  very well with the progress  that we have now.

Hey friend, how long did  you tried  chatting and doing online stuff like blogging, online business and other people  that are just wandering around the corner. When I was just starting to introduce my blog existence in the world web, I was overwhelm with the help and advices I received from old time bloggers and friends that are familiar with the way blogging goes. I did remember and apply day by day those advices they gave me. And months of hard work and sacrifice was worth it when I first get my opportunity, I know I was improving as I reviewed my entry. With the help also of some web site hosting my blogs were noticed and  started to cached in search engines. My page rank and traffic also increase, For a newbie like me It was an achievement. It motivates me more to strive for the better. My simple perspective of blogging begun to changed, courtesy of hosting and blog hopping I was able to learn more and I was able to figure out what I really wanted to do to my blog, what kind of write ups I would like my viewers to read in my site. I wanted more and wanted to reconstruct my blog theme according to my preference and interest, which is the very important part of blogging. Knowing what you really want to deliver to your readers. Maintaining your theme of interest that you love to blog about. These are just the basic things I have learned in blogging and I know as time goes by, I will acquire more knowledge and wisdom in this hobby of mine.

INTERNET MALFUNCTION

I am trying to claim my calm from the very the time that I open and found out that things aren't good tonight. If you'll asked me why?, the reason why is that I am a bit annoyed- my internet connection is consuming my time in an idle mode. What a night. I have a turtle internet connection, I can't help myself frown of being stuck waiting to load the page I wanted to view. It hinders me to blog hop tonight so to make myself occupied I grabbed some task.

To all my friends out there whom I owe a visit tonight, please do excuse and forgive me as I am experiencing  trouble with my internet connection. As much as I would like to get to see updates in your page I am really sorry for myself. I am going to rest early tonight to recharge for tomorrows another big day. I hope after having such issue , tomorrow will be a good one for me. Well, this is life its not always good and okay, I can't blame my internet provider, anyway they can't stop people from using the internet and maybe this explain having traffic and busy networks tonight.

CELLPHONE ACCESORIES

Last Christmas I bought myself and itouch. My real plan before was just to buy an ipod nano for its cute size and new added features but unfortunately I was not able to buy it and instead I got itouch, I was just convinced to buy this itouch because my friend whose with me that time keeps on promoting about this gadget. The store we visited had many cellphone and ipod accessories. They have this cool iphone 3gs accessories and iphone accessories that are really inviting to buy and you wish you had your iphone to accessorize. if only I had the budget that time I'm sure I would go for 3g iphone. Maybe some other time I could upgrade my itouch to iphone.

HERE AGAIN TALKING

It's time for me to break the silence. I have to update my posting here before I get busy again. I am just trying to take this free time of mine to talk and blab again, though there's nothing interesting to tell lately aside from my having on leave again today I can't think of something cool that shaken my being and made me laugh out hard. Things here in the apartment is the same. The other room always enjoy DVD marathon while I am just happy listening to my music here in my room.

You always have your choice. Sometimes we are just afraid of change, because we are not ready to embrace the new challenge in life. We are used of the things we used to do, we are comfortable with the people around us, the community and environment so we fight for no change.
