SMELLS GOOD THIS CHRISTMAS

If Santa Claus  has receive my letter for him  now,  It would surely be fragrant day for me on the day of Christmas. haha. To have that alluring gucci perfume would indeed complete the night. Although I still have some more of my wish list I just chose among the rest, will just take care of other list little by little. As I am also a Santa to other angels, and completing the list of their wish list is also my task to accomplish. I just hope I would be able to do them all before the day. In few days time  the celebration is on, busy people and happy kiddos will be the day indeed, To God be the glory for all this, after all Christmas is in remembrance of our saviors first day as flesh on Earth.

HAPPY AT LAST

Older people say that committing yourselves to your partner for life is not an easy thing to do, because they are two different people with different up bringing and orientation. But, the best part of that is they come to become one as there journey starts as a couple. Everyday is a gift, is a new day to discover new things about your partner. It is what I hear in most  married couples that I have known. To grow old together, share all dreams and goals, respecting and being accountable with each other, a great commitment.

Recently, my officemate tied the knot with his long time boyfriend. While she was busy preparing for her wedding, there was no trace of tiredness, though she was telling me she is at times consumed by work and pressured as well for her wedding preparation,still, she looks blooming all the time. I was not able to witness her very day as I have a prior appointment, but saw all her stuff for the wedding and the triton wedding bands that  signifies their vows. Everything went well and according to plan when I watched their video. My friend and office mate is happy at last. I wish them all the best in life and may God be the center of their married life. 

UPCOMING CELEBRATION

July 01, will again mark in the Independence of Canadian people who will celebrate the statutory holiday called  Canada Day in commemoration of enactment of British North America Act. Which united three British colonies into a single country called  Canada. 

It will surely be a colorful fun day to all the citizens of Canada, like other countries who celebrates their National Day. After the program an outdoor activity is held like parades , games, foods, even fireworks  usually takes place with this kind of Holiday Celebration.

A THOUGHTFUL GESTURE

Mothers day is coming near, during this day of remembrance of our wonderful and best mothers in Earth, we make different efforts to show our thanks and gratitude with our beloved mother. Just like ordinary people out there, I also have plans for that day, Last year, I gave her flower through Mobile flower delivery , since I wasn't able to visit them home because of work.I was just thankful that time that even without my presence I could still show her my love and gratitude for being my mother since birth. For raising us, her children. It's a big help that services nowadays is so competitive and just a call and text messaging away. 

This time, I have reserve the day for my mother , so the family will have to celebrate complete, A dinner ,a small token of appreciation will really do and of course a bouquet of flowers to envelope the day with love. 

AN EDSA REVOLUTION FLASH BACK

My long due post Edsa entry was at last done and is ready to share here in in this page. Thanks to all those people out there who have shared their emotions and other opinions for the celebration last Friday, February 25,2011. First of all, the day was not mark a special holiday which the former administration did, to give way for the said historic event in our country. No comment with that:-). I was not present in the time Edsa revolution in 1986 was formed, I was a martial law baby, what was happening during the Martial law, and Edsa days has no impact to me during that time. But to this day, those stories of my family, my Lolo , news and the history books had given me somehow information and knowledge of those event in the country of my own. 

Younger people were asked on their views about the Edsa revolution, Some says " Edsa was the eye opener for the Filipino people to fight for their  freedom". to be freed from the dictatorship of  President who serve the country for two decades is overwhelming. That justice has bid ways to those oppressed during the dictatorship, The killing of Ninoy Aquino has ignited the flame to end the dictatorship administration. What was beyond all this story has not yet been told, I guess, as there is always two sides of the story , three and four sides to tell. and to which of that is told correctly, we really don't know. Only God knows.  We can't judge and condemned the people  who was accused  behind the crime because we are not present at the time it happened, we only rely on stories and news.

What is the true meaning of Edsa  revolution anyway? I believe during this time the Filipino shows oneness  of call for change in leadership. And we all know the people power , right? If majority say No, stop and act, all the rest will be history. But how about you? do you really know the meaning of Edsa revolution? or your also one of the mediocre who go out and shout out  for the second time around when the people power had formulated to make the administration you voted to step down because you were not satisfied, so you desire change again without evaluating yourself if you have been a good citizen to your country, Are you one of the  Filipino who where there just to be called present at the time the revolution happened? but if asked, you can't state your own reason of supporting it and why you sacrifice your time to be part of the people power. We always shout for change of governance, but if I may ask, when can  we realize that we are part of this changes failures, dissatisfaction? we always tend to look up on our leaders to blame, but we do not do our part as a community. It's easy for us to find fault on our government when in fact we can't admit ourselves that we are also to blame . Anyway, so much for this, May God bless us all and our country.

BRIGHT IS THE NIGHT

Christmas season is one of the celebration of the year I always look forward to, why ? because during this season , the spirit of giving , loving, remembering, friendship , family , and touching the lives of others is so alive. Everyone is preparing to give what they can share and what blessing they could impart with their neighbors. Also the lights are sparkling everywhere, Christmas lights with different colors never go out of trend in Christmas season, and I just love it. It adds up happiness in my heart seeing people serenading each houses, trying to complete the misa de gallo , I hope this tradition during Christmas will never be forgotten in the next generation.

WEDDING DAY

Today was the wedding of my friend, Edwin. We where there together with our comlife friends in the company. The wedding was officiated by our very own Pastor in the company, I almost got myself absent in the ceremony because I woke up late, Thankfully my other friend called this morning reminding me of our appointment this morning and she was there already in our meeting place. Although our meeting place is a few minutes away in my area, still I rush in preparation. I happened to sleep late last night because I was out with my man. 

Despite the the rush we where still able to make it before the actual ceremony, We make sure everything is in order according to plan, and so it was. I'll be sharing some of the photos here in my next update.  To my Friend, Edwin, Congratulation friend.

DAYS COUNTING FOR THE WEDDING

I know some of my blogger friends  already knows how busy I am this month and on the following month, I have three lined up events to prepare. Next week its the awards night and on the first week of December it's my friend's wedding. With that I'm a bit pressure since I am in charge for the flower arrangement in the wedding area. They don't have a budget to hire a professional wedding planner so our group decided to offer help for our dearest friend. And we are given a chance to chose what particular task we wish to pledged. It was my choice to handle the flower arrangement because somehow I had experienced in flower arrangement, and also I love doing it. Though I'm a bit pressure as the event come close, I am thankful for the flower deals I got to choose. With that, I will put all my best to make the area solemn, romantic and sophisticated

JUKE BOX SELECT

Who says Filipino's are poor, and life here is difficult?  I beg to disagree on this notion, why? because I had here in the neighborhood who loves to party almost every weekend. I can always witness their partying, viewing them inside my window. To think that their means of living cannot be categorized as well and off, they would always  celebrate the birthdays of their siblings , again almost every week. I am not exaggerating things, It is my experienced here from the first year of my stay  up to my third year in this apartment now. My neighbor loves to sing, I guess owner of those videoke machines  in our area is making  riches out of that business because the neighbors are a grand patronizer, music lovers. forgive the rhythm , the voice quality and the volume of their music box. Instead of complaining for the volume and the types of music played, I am just holding on to the good side. Like,  I am able to save my electricity because my television is off . Anyway it  would be useless for me to open the television because the other compounds music box is serenading the whole street. You would thought it is a  thanksgiving party of the Barangay official here who won the electoral race.  What can I do, with these trips of my my wonderful neighborhood, Anyone here can give me inputs / advices on how to address the Sunday concert I am always privilege to hear, whether I like it or not. 

FIRST TIME

Next month I am going to celebrate my birthday and also, we are going to celebrate the first birthday of my sisters baby boy.Our family can't hide the excitement that's why we are now preparing everything for my nephews grand celebration.As a matter of fact, my brother was showing us the designs that we can choose for Adam's 1st birthday invitations. My sisters target to accomplished all the works for Adams 1st birthday is before the end of this month. Because on the 1st week of October, it's going to be one of the memorable day for the family and specially for Adam.I can't wait to see that day, Happy!

CHRISTMAS IS FAST APPROACHING

We are now in the second week of September and next day you know its Christmas time again. Time is running fast and before I make complaints again for the hassles and traffic in the metro and the crowded scenes in every malls and bazaar area, I am now planning to buy gifts for Christmas which I will be handing to my loved ones. Cards, accessories, toys , beauty care and other stuff that I can share on Christmas gift giving time.

When I was a kid, I appreciate the yuletide season a lot maybe because they say, Christmas is for kids. Children receive countless gifts from their God mother and God father and their Parents. These are one of the things that I like about Christmas, giving and receiving. It has been a tradition during the birth of Christ the king.

I hope that everyone is not forgetting also that we celebrate Christmas because we believe that Christ was born and is willing to give His all to those who believes and welcome Him as our personal savior.Amen!

A LIFE OF FUN

A very sweet and caring buddy is celebrating a birthday today, I just want to greet him through this page of mine. I hope things for you today are going well, I wish you good health always. Keep up the life don't forget to pray. I thank God, for your life and your family. Enjoy your company and the bucket of beer. Long live! Cadeau will follow. Together with a bucket of beer too. haha! (the term Cadeau means gift in french, this term was borrowed from a cool blogger friend that I have followed tonight.) Once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

I almost forgot to post for the Mothers day presentation today. I might be late but from the bottom of my heart  a sincere  greetings for all the  Mommy, Mama, Nanay out there, A blessed Mother's day .  I  will also  take pride of  reserving this space to the lovely  woman  in my life , who unselfishly supported me from the very first time I came out from her womb, until this day of my twenty eight years and 212 days of  my exact existence. Thank  you very much Mama. Without you, I  will not know my  purpose of living today. Your being strict have mold me to become a responsible person. When I was in college I couldn't understand  your  ways. Why you have so many rules implemented exclusively for me, and I couldn't understand it more when Kuya has all the freedom and privileges which I don't have. It hurts me even more when I can't hear anything from you every time  you knew kuya have  done wrong, instead you keep on loving him more as  with my younger brother too. While I received opposite  reaction when you found out  I have done wrong too. Isn't it unfair Mama? so I run away from home because I am so deprived and oppressed as I ought to believe.

But you were really right Mama, and never did I realized  that time that mother always knows best for their children. But I am glad and thankful that God had open my mind to understand things  that I refuse to  accept, Then God give me wisdom to clear up the cobwebs paralyzing  my  logical thinking. Thank you Ma, now I totally understand your ways, Now I am completing the puzzles, and that makes me believe that you have  made me whole  and unique. I could not ask for more than anything else in this world. Yes, your more precious that Golds. I love you Ma, and will keep loving you with all  that I have.

TO PARTY OR NOT?

I didn't bother myself preparing for the party that will be held tomorrow in our company. That was I thought all the while, not until this morning that I saw almost everyone is busy preparing for their get ups. I am not excited as I don't used to wear dress because I am not comfortable with it, though I don't closed my door of wearing those kinds of formal attire, it just that I prefer casual wear and snickers. But tonight I change my mind, I went to the nearest mall to rush and buy myself a dress I did not like either the thought of my being outcast in that party. And look like a gate crasser. Besides this kind of party only happened once in a blue moon so I realized I must enjoy the day and wear a dress.

DAYS COUNTING FOR CHRISTMAS

I don't know why I am not that excited for the upcoming wide celebration of Christmas day. They said Christmas is for children and I do agree. Way back my childhood days , I remember the feelings.  Those excitement I felt every time Christmas comes closer. I love it because its the time where me and my neighborhood would agreed to group ourselves and have our own improvised instruments to use for our  house to house caroling session in the nearby subdivision. These is the  season for Mesa De Gallo, the time for Puto Bumbong , the  season for gift giving, Christmas cards, exchange gifts and even wedding invitations are also in during these season were couples bind their love during the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ birth.

Of course my favorite part during Christmas is the Aginaldo from my Ninong and Ninang. But now its different I a now the Ninang (laughs) just reminding me of my good childhood memories. Maybe this is the reason why I don't get excited, haha!  Expenses booms during this month. But there's a good side to see aside from just  counting expenses. Its worth more than the price. To see your loved ones  and other people smile  because of the joy you brought to them, whew! believe me you'll forgot the pain it cause in your pocket, (smile) Happy Holidays!

CHILD DEDICATION

Today is the child dedication of my friend. In catholic it's called christening. I am one of the God mother of her cute little angel Mackenzie Jane. Thank God its not raining today though I am not seeing the Sun outside it looks like good to go out. I wish I could just show my support the other way around without showing up in the ceremony, not because I don't wan to but because I am having a lazy bones today. Oh myself! What kind of friend am I. Anyway even if my body does not agree I will still need to attend for Macmac.
