OVERSTAYING OF SOUTHWEST MONSOON RAIN

Tuesday, August 07,2012 Southwest monsoon was fore casted to run down Metro Manila and in some various provinces. City was flooded which causes commuters to be stranded in highways, classes was suspended , government offices and some private sector postponed their services. Malacanang Palace declared suspension of work and classes on Tuesday of said date. The following day Wednesday, southwest monsoon was yet pouring up rain and thunderstorm. Provinces  and Cities mostly affected by the s.w. monsoon was Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Marikina , Quezon City  and Manila.

Marikina River hit its water level of 20 above, mandating a forced evacuation for all resident living beside the River.Due to non stop heavy rain, water dam was open causing the area near the station to flood above 7ft.Most affected areas where Fairview , Marikina, E.Rodriguez , Cainta Rizal,Malabon. Cities in these towns  became a pool. Homes of families affected by the monsoon rain where wiped out, houses sail along with trashes and garbage'.

Our affected brothers and sisters with their children spent their nights and day at the evacuation center without any assurance of what tomorrow would offer them. Thanks be to our generous and able brothers and sisters whom has share their time , effort, money and resources to help and provide for the victims of southwest monsoon. I salute our rescuer team , civilians , government officials, volunteers, sponsors for unselfishly giving and caring specially in times where the need is great.May God bless all your good heart.

NATURAL DISASTERS

As I have posted on my previous post about tsunami that hit Japan this Friday what came in to my mind was about the natural disaster that hit some of the nation this past two years. Do you remember the flood that engulf some of the area in metro manila last September 2009? . The Haiti tragedy happened last year where in more Filipinos was affected also, their cities was in total wreck, then the all star hollywood figures come up with a project to raise a fund for the victim of Haiti Earthquake. Chile Earthquake also last February 2010. Isn't alarming, how nature is coming up to us? . How about flood and landslide in Brazil last Dec. 2010, Flood in Australia. New Zealand Earthquake last  February  2011, and now the very latest and breaking news, is the Earthquake that created tsunami in Japan just this Friday , March 11,2011. 

If I am to count those natural calamities we  experience this fast few years, I know some of the family who were affected by disaster where in disbelief and  still in hard time accepting their loss, but I can assure you, it is just normal, soon their country will be on track again. Warnings are now visible, if we are not to do our part of being a good and responsible citizens, we will still encounter  this events  in life. What we can do right now, is pray for our brothers and sister in Christ Jesus, for the meantime what we can do is pray, pray , pray that God will not forsake us and spare us in any disaster, anyway who would wish for those calamities ? no one , right?

TSUNAMI HITS JAPAN

Last Friday, I heard the news that strikes one of the city of Japan, it was past 2 o'clock  in the afternoon when the news of Earthquake that trigger tsunami, Seeing the video of tsunami wiping the properties it passes by I got scared for the lives of the residents that were affected by this calamity. Meanwhile, my friend's sisters where a resident already of Japan , I message my friend right away to ask update of her sisters, and during that day according to him, her sisters are not responding to their call it just keep ringing , the other day after the calamity, her sisters informed them that they are in safe, and in good condition though some part of the city has no power, because the electricity was cut off to avoid damages, so most of the neighborhood uses honda generators eu3000is , including them that's why they were able to contact my friend through internet,since signal in there place due to numbers of cell sites were affected. I hope everything will get back to normal in time.

THE MEMORIES OF ONDOY

I was not aware last Saturday  that these things were happening around Metro Manila, while I am busy doing my thing here in front of my desktop. I didn't know also that there's a storm named " Ondoy"  that day. All I know is that the rain is non-stop.The rain started  Friday evening and continued until Saturday night. But I didn't mind at all because I am safe and comfortable in my room while seating in front of  the monitor. But when I decided to go downstairs  of  the apartment for a loo at around 10 am. I was  shocked and on hysterical to see that our ground floor has turned into a mini swimming pool below my knee. My sister's bed is floating in her area. While in the kitchen, our Gas tank was floating also and the refrigerator freon will nearly get watered by the flood.The flood in our area subside late afternoon of Saturday but compare to the other areas in Metro Manila the floods were serious that it reach the roof of some villages in town.
