Tuesday, August 07,2012 Southwest monsoon was fore casted to run down Metro Manila and in some various provinces. City was flooded which causes commuters to be stranded in highways, classes was suspended , government offices and some private sector postponed their services. Malacanang Palace declared suspension of work and classes on Tuesday of said date. The following day Wednesday, southwest monsoon was yet pouring up rain and thunderstorm. Provinces and Cities mostly affected by the s.w. monsoon was Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Marikina , Quezon City and Manila.
Marikina River hit its water level of 20 above, mandating a forced evacuation for all resident living beside the River.Due to non stop heavy rain, water dam was open causing the area near the station to flood above 7ft.Most affected areas where Fairview , Marikina, E.Rodriguez , Cainta Rizal,Malabon. Cities in these towns became a pool. Homes of families affected by the monsoon rain where wiped out, houses sail along with trashes and garbage'.
Our affected brothers and sisters with their children spent their nights and day at the evacuation center without any assurance of what tomorrow would offer them. Thanks be to our generous and able brothers and sisters whom has share their time , effort, money and resources to help and provide for the victims of southwest monsoon. I salute our rescuer team , civilians , government officials, volunteers, sponsors for unselfishly giving and caring specially in times where the need is great.May God bless all your good heart.
