THE EXTRAVAGANT AND THRIFTY

Merriam dictionary defines Thrifty as frugal, given to or marked by economy and good management. And Extravagant as lacking restraint in spending money or using resources , and costing too much. I came consulting Mr Dictionary as I am torn between two definition.

A heard so much about payroll humor that most of the time makes me laugh and smile. You know the feeling that the joke was meant to you? . I will not go further of my observation within the circle I belong. Where  the hard earn money seemed to slipped away in no time, because we spend more with those wants rather than those necessity. Come a week before the pay-out , everyone seems to become economically conscious. So from fancy restaurant to food cart, its a usual scene in many groups.

At times, humbling us is effective to come up with good management, being responsible and having a sense of responsibility of taking seriously with our hard earned money. Your views and perspective changes for the better. But I do not wish the humbling part to come my way before I realize that I am already spending poorly today and jeopardize my future. So let God take control of my resources and give me wisdom.

Too many people fall in to the pay day trap - forgetting to buy what is necessary and buying what they want in that moment instead. It's easy to do and thankfully I am wise with my money and like to save because you never know what might happen :-)

i can SO relate to that, hahaha! but i guess that's what motivates us to work even harder, the idea that we'll be rewarded at the end of the month..
