MY BIRTHDAY ENTRY

I want to take this opportunity to thank God once again for making me alive and well. Not that rich, not that poor but still surviving and have enough to sustain my daily way of living. Yesterday was a day for me to remember my day of birth. And my heart is feel with gladness and joy for the blessing I am continuously receiving. Good health, A loving family , A friends with different characters that I am blessed to blend with their unique personality that I can used in molding my inner Me.

I know it's not always good in life, most of the time it's hard to some people out there, while I am having a good sleep, a family and a friend were I could turn to in case of frailty. Just to share here the burden I have one day before my birthday. My bf and I were eating in a near 24 hour pares house when suddenly a group of less fortunate kids approached the open area of the food house. Of course most of the people eating there were pissed off, including my bf. Because a kid keeps on asking him for a penny. My bf lectured the kid telling them that it is not proper to approached a person if they need to asked help. He even told them to wait until we finished our dinner. While we continue eating I told him, my heart is breaking for those kids and I even asked him to give them money to eat. But instead, He asked the waitress to give the kids food, the waitress was hesitant to do the request but prepared it as she was no choice and besides, we will pay the bill. After handing the food with the kids, I honestly saw the glow on the kid's eye who accept the food from the waitress. After they get the food, they encircled themselves in one corner, and one of the kid approached my bf and say "Salamat Po Kuya sa Pagkain" Oh God, my heart bleeds. I wish I could give them more. My bf was happy to hear the kid recognizing his act of kindness. I told my bf that not all kids that we saw in the street are headaches, and there are still many of them in the streets that are good and because they are starving, instead of playing they go out and look for food in ways that they think they can easily survived.

Hi Sissy! so sorry for not visiting your site so often. I am really busy this last few months. Alam mo na kung baket. hehehe.

Anyway, belated happy birthday my dear and I hope that you will continue to live a life full of hope and love and kindness. I was so touch with your gestures for those kids. If I have one wish that our government will do is to really take action about that situation. I know there are more good charity institutions which aim to support the poor.

You know what, one of my dreams is to be able to donate more money in the charity institutions that help poor kids to have a home, foods for their daily life, school to go and help them start to have a better life. Sana matupad ko....

Again, you have a kind heart and keep it that way. Miss you sissy!

First of all, Belated Happy Birthday. :) Sorry I was not able to greet you earlier. Storiesl ike this make me appreciate my life more. Though we are not rich, we can still eat 3 meals a day. Its touching how such a simple meal can brighten the hearts of the children. :) Take care always.

Yes, that's a very commendable thing that your BF did. Instead of giving those starving kids some paltry coins, your BF ordered food from the waitress and gave the food to the kids. That the kid gave a sheepish thank you to your BF made the occasion doubly memorable. God touched you and your BF's hearts on that day. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
