NUCLEAR RADIATION

This morning the message about the leak of nuclear radiation from the nuclear plant in Japan have scared almost everyone in the country, as the text messages spread out , the sender says that everyone should take extra precaution , and if it's possible the people is warn not to go out around 4pm this afternoon as the wind is said to be infected from the radiation that comes from Japan. The sender has advice to buy a betadine and rub it in the neck as the radiation , first strike the throat. And if the rain pour out, the sender of the text message says not to go out, and if it cannot be prevented to go outside, a raincoat and umbrella is advice to use. Well, common sense if it rains you have to wear a protection for you not to get wet, hehe.

One of the victim of this misleading information of some forwarded text messages is my dearest friend, believe it or not, he started calling his mom and instructed to buy a betadine for protection, I was asking him, why he do that, but I couldn't laugh with his action because I know he was just trying to protect his loved ones. I explained that the probability of us be infected from the radiation is very rare,I told him before the case of world war II were in the leak from the nuclear radiation has also detected, but we did not hear of contamination here.  But he has a point also, which I didn't debate further, That God can cause that radiation to hit us, if He will allow it, But since He spare us in the grave threat of Tsunami, that does not mean, we have to dare God.

My grandmother was also scared by this text message which was forwarded by my own aunt! tsk tsk Imagine we were in the middle of watching a movie on dvd and then my grandma hurriedly went back next door because she was afraid to be caught outdoors.

I do hope that this person who started this text scare would not repeat this again as it causes unnecessary panic. :(

It is really scary, kaya dapat laging nanunuod ng news, marami kasing mga hoax text messages, intended to scare people! It's good to use the Internet technology nowadays...

The probability that we will be contaminated by the nuclear fallout in Japan is almost zero. Those who spread the malicious text messages were out of their minds and were just trying to scare everyone. That some school officials fell for it and suspended classes is really funny if not downright gullible. That's the problem with scare messages. They tend to create fear and panic to everyone. Shame on these people. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

I did not received such thing. I just had the knowledge about it when our adviser asked us the next day. Some of my classmates also testified that they received it. The directress also suspended the afternoon classes and advised those who were remaining in the campus to take their leave. I was already at home back then.
