THE ENLIGHTENED ONE

An ancient India, a prince named Siddharta had renounced his royal background to become an ascetic, desperately seeking the meaning of life through extreme means such as sitting on thorns or living on a single grain a day. One day, as he meditated by the river , a small boat passed by. On the boat, a zitar player was teaching his young apprentice. "If the string is too tight", said the teacher,  "it will snap. If the string is too loose, it will not make sound." Siddharta opened his eyes and realized that all his efforts were nothing compared to what he had just heard. He realized that if a person were to find the meaning of life, he must not go to the extremes, but pursue a middle path instead. Pursuing a middle path meant following the rules which make up a meaningful life. Siddharta eventually became the Buddha, which means " the Enlightened One".

I was reminded by the story because of things that we people often do to be accepted by the society, by our family , in the workplace, at home , by our circle of friends and most of all by God. I don't know if you will agree with me but as far as I have observe, still we do things , activities , rituals like hurting themselves and nailing their body in the cross to become holy and clean again. We somehow missed the point that God has already paid for our sins and there's no need for us again to hang ourselves in the cross to be forgiven. That All He needs  of us is our contrite heart and a broken spirit to repent and we will be again pure and clean in God's presence. May we all find the true meaning of our existence in God's love for us.

SURPRISE ME

This story was taken from Our daily Bread and I would like to share it here also, because I also love surprises.
The story begun when , the author's family went out for an ice cream cone. He said his dad will usually asked his mother what flavor she'd like. And often, His mom would reply , " Surprise me"! And here mother was rarely disappointed  in his fathers choice.

Do you like surprises too? would you ever dare say. " Surprise me!" to God a lot of us are a little scared to do that. Yes we have faith that God is good and that He loves us. Yet we're afraid we won't like what He chooses for us.  I hope everyone will always asked for God's grace to be content with what God gives us.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Is unconditional love really exist? With my experience and observation and opinion with regards to these matter I could say that love really exist but unconditional love still have few proofs yet. For all I know God was only the man I knew who shows that kind of love in the world. Some will not agree to me but anyway all has the right to express their own views and opinions and I am just expressing what I am feeling. When I saw pair exchanging vows in front of the sacred altar for their love to each other I am so inspired to them but after the matrimony and they enter the real life of marriage and end up in misery and break ups, I begun to wonder why?. Have they forgot what they've promised to each other and instead of doing things to fix the issue they end up choosing another partner for a new replacement. And start  searching again until they found that perfect match that will fit in their standards.

Unconditional love was then again taken for granted. Humans are so physically inclined creatures. We tend to overlook the deeper meaning of loving that is why we failed to give our unconditional love to our partners. I wonder if we are just like God enduring and forgiving , then what a wonderful world  we have. to live in .
Despite the fact that we are all sinners and unworthy for love and forgiveness, God loves us still with all the defects we had in our life. So amazing! I cannot fathom God's mercy and Glory.

NO MATTER HOW DARK IT IS

Sometimes along our journey to life, we stumble and crawl. We lose our control and feel helpless in our misery. We can not see the light because darkness is pulling us down. But there are times when we learn to help ourselves fight the darkness and unexpectedly we can't explain how we manage to get out of the dark. We take the credit for ourselves for those miracles which should not be the case. We missed to return back the favor and credit to our mighty God, because some people are so arrogant and fool to believe on their self strengths. Pity for them.

Remember God has never forsaken you especially in the darkest part of your life. So, we should thank Him and glorify Him, for restoring your life and for making you safe all the time and for putting you in the right tract of your life. If you face again the darkness. Believe and have faith, and you will see Gods hand will work out to carry you.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST TEST?

God tests His children to know what is in their hearts. God's desire for each one of us is to walk in relationship with Him, to uphold His righteousness and integrity. It is proven that we are likely to fail on achieving without complete dependence on Him. The greatest tests come not in great adversities, but in great prosperity. Because in God's  prosperity  we begin to lose the sensitivity in sinning. While adversity  helps us motivates in righteousness out of our desire to see our adversity changed. We fall into a satisfaction and confidence in life that is based on our prosperity rather than on God. Had you try reflecting lately?

("I know, my God, that You test the heart and are pleased with integrity." - 1 Chronicles 29:17)

A Time For Everything

GOd said  in ecclesiastes 3: there is a season for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them , a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

God has a purpose in all of us therefore there is no such thing as accident in this world. He created us unique and he created us according to his likeness and image. If we pray and we feel that God does not listening to your cries and petition, think again. Do  not feel bad about it, maybe this is not the right time to receive your petition yet. He knows whats best for all of us.
