CLARITY AND PROWESS

New season of American Idol is on and so many talented young men and women are showing their best of voices in front of audience and the judges, whom will determine who’s in and who’s out. I chance to watch several episode of season 13 audition in Austin and was amazed by the huge crowd of talented person patiently waiting for their number to call so the judges could hear that golden voice. 

I remember during my teen days I was also one of those gifted with voice,(As I claimed) Yes I am as my friends and family would tell me. In fact I was selected to be part of the choir in our school. My lola even brought home a microphone like that of rode mic at musicians friend . We were all excited in the house to test that stuff if it will give our voice a clarity and highlight its prowess. That moment I realized that I inherit that gift of singing from my lovely auntie’s and with my lolo as well.

MUSIC THAT HEARS ALL

They say music is our soul and without it, life is unthinkable. This medium gives us static feeling inside that it naturally connects every pieces inside of one person to harmoniously move in the rhythm. Yes, I must agree that music is a bliss.  It gives hope , it refreshes love, it brings out the artistic side of human being.

For the record, I have not meet so far a person who does not like music. It like everyone do, only we have our genre preference. It is like an instrument , that even if almost all is into music not all knows how to play just like the They say music is our soul and without it, life is unthinkable. REVIVING SOUL

Its Friday today and I was all set to do my marathon of pending movies I had purchased in a record bar. But, earlier today, my friend Liz message me asking to join the group in watching the local film that most teens are fond of this days. And by the way, the main reason why the girls will meet up tonight is because, a member of the close friend is needing a company to talk to.

And since, we are going to a huge mall I would then take advantage of looking for a guitar which my niece has been asking for a new year gift.I have checked online and found out that an axl guitar at Guitar Center is a perfect gift, as some reviewer quipped. That I will take a look later when I am already there. I need to see and hear it first before my very sight if it really is worth the price.

A PIECE OF COLLECTIBLES

I chance to watch the featured items in one of Barter King where  the host was able to trade a tattoo kit worth 200 dollar for a rare photograph of rolling stone performing  a decade ago worth 800dollar to a piece of collectible electric guitar  that worth 1500 dollar. The were able to make their trade value goes up.

I liked the photograph of rolling stone as well as the electric guitar so for me the barter kings do great in their business. I hope next time they could take home more of ts808 that rockers out there could take advantage of the trade offer.

KEEPING SAFE THAT INSTRUMENT

As I have mention with my other post, I went here in my friend's place to use his laptop and internet as my broadband at home was disconnected temporarily. If my memory serves me right the last time I visit here is more 2 years ago. And with that long gap, I'm surprise to see he is almost complete of having the basic musical instrument. Some of them where safely kept in arriba cases while some of them looks brand new, though Jess says they were not brand new. Which made me conclude he is keeping his Instrument not just in tune, but in good looks as well.

PLAY IT LOUD

Surprise by the voice of my brother, I stand from slouching in couch to ask his concern. After that I came back and increase the volume of the music I was listening as my brother requested. I could not hide my smile when I return to the couch, why not? he do not like my music as he usually complaint. When I went to check him back downstair I saw my brother browsing at some musical instrument at buy boss pedals , from the page I saw. Though I am curious what is it that he want to buy I reserved my question, I just wait when that instrument is already at his hand. 

GOOD SOUND GOOD MUSIC

Thinking over, If I will be ask what particular habit , stuff , activity I cannot live without aside from those basic needs I can personally say that music is one. As I cannot imagine life without good sound to look forward everyday. See what will happen to those amazing music instrument that gives life sound. Take for example this best epiphone sheraton ii, instrument such that deserves a player in order that the sound be shared and spread to the everyone.

TESTING THE SOUND

I was sharing with my other page about my friends offer to me of joining them in their growing team, the music team in our church. I do not have answer yet until now , but even so I am still privilege to witness their rehearsals. I could say they really is family from base, to guitar,to the vocalist and back ups to the drum sticks of the drummers and pianist , to the mixers and all the members of the group present in that moment. I could feel the intense , the dedication in their talents. It creates a deeper joy listening with them, it is such a blessing to be invited in their team. I hope I could hear the answer to my prayer if I am for that team or unto other ministry.

LET THE BEAT ON

Now that Halloween is in the air, I use to see updates on my wall of costume parties my network friends attended. I also receive an invitation from a group list to attend in a thrill music event this first day of the coming month , by reading the conversation it says the theme is Thrill, a music where the late King of Pop famously show off the world his deadly steps which up to this day is followed. I heard also from some commentator that one of today's big music industry is showing interests to sponsor, and if its true then will be pretty sure to see a full throttle Thriller dance and music party. It surely is a blast with the instrument they will be using in that event and might be first time to see heath equipment playing for that party. Yay, excited much!

OLD FRIEND'S HOBBIES

To begin with, I am excited to see an old friend whom I lost contact along time ago after we graduated college and separate ways. Thankfully our fate has crossed again, we reunited through the help of networking site, we chatted a couple of times I learned of his interests and profession as well. Now he is a member of a local band and they used to sing in some bars in the metro. He even gave me a free pass of their gig.And promised me to introduce me to les paul if I wishes to come to watch them live. He is also willing to help me learn how to play not just the basic chords of guitar and I find awesome. So I am looking forward of our reunion.

COOL VOCAL CHORDS

It is my first time to hear the voice of my new housemate this morning, looks like she was a good singer the way she deliver the lyrics , I got star struck with her while listening and also doing my thing in front of the best monitor stands I believe to be. When were having breakfast this morning I told her of my discovery, that she has a cool voice. Lovely and powerful. She smiled at me and she started sharing her story about her descendants who has gift on singing. My curious mind was given a clear answer , now I am privilege to have known a good singer inside the house. :)

RAINY STROLLING

Everyday as we go out from our houses to go on with our own life routines, there are events that comes along our way.The other day while rain covered the whole city. Out of boredom I went out to check a place where I could spent some hours entertaining myself with musical instrument that I wanted to learn. I arrived at the store of jazzmaster guitar that a good friend of mine mention when asks him about a particular type of guitar made. My purpose of going out that day was served when I went to that music house with lots of musical instrument, When I got home, I excitedly share what I have seen with my friend who I shares same interest.The following day, we visited again the store and he bought a new string and a guitar tuner.

EXCITED FOR THE COMING PARTY

As I have mention earlier on my post, we are about to celebrate the last treat for the summer fun which we are to held at the residence of our very own friendship who own a fun-tastic pool. Everything is set up and has its own fair share to the success of the party. We divided ourselves into four, the first group is dedicated in food preparation, while the second group is housekeeping , the third group on activity and program, and the fourth group is in charge of the sound system. They are the ones responsible in making some good sound in the house that everyone will hear would be encourage to buy acoustic kind of guitar when they start playing their prepared  numbers.Excited much. Aw!

THE LOVE OF MUSIC

We all want to express our feelings and emotions in different ways, some in writings, in paintings others in their work , some through body language and musicians through their songs. We express the message through ways we are comfortable delivering it. And of all ways I mention here I could relate more on music,I listen to music that gives positive energy inside me, I love variety , loud music, classics and more. Instrumental music creates focus and peace inside me. Also music that uses 6 String Electric Bass creates an awesome sound. My heart sing for joy every time I hear music instrument playing , how much more if I learn to operate them in constructing a good sound of music.

JAMMING SESSION

Performance appraisal in our company is over for this quarter and one of the comment and advice I got from my boss was the idea of me being active in ministry in our company , joining the music ministry is what she really is pointing out to me. And I have not yet say any intention of joining but I have already talked with my friend who took charge in music instrument , and we both agree that I will join his team every time they will have their practice which I find it interesting. This friend of mine really has a gift on strings,I fall in love on laguna acoustic guitars every time he starts strumming the string its like you will be convinced to play the instrument and be like him. This coming week the session will start so I am preparing myself now to jam with them.

SOUNDS GOOD

Music is the life and language of this generation , though it has also been the language of our forefathers only this time its being interpreted in many ways. Who in this generation does not like music? from classic, to rock, Rnb to ballad and fusion to jazz. Music has become our medium to tell the world of  our feelings , a way to connect with our almighty God. I am just thankful that headphones are invented, atleast I can listen to the music everywhere without distracting other people. How convenient it is for me, when heading to my work everyday, my so loved ipod has become my best buddy , and will always be one of my thing when traveling.

UNTIL THE NEXT CONCERT!

I am blessed to watch the concert of Hillsong United last Thursday in Araneta Coliseum.We have to file for under time that day to make sure that we can have a good seat. But when we came there at around 5 in the afternoon, the crowd was already overwhelming. We have to hurry up and follow the line that looks like never ending. People keeps on coming, it was not yet late, imagine if we get there at exact time we cannot choose the seats. Though we also stand when the concert started.The concert lasted for two in a half hours, the group has to come back at the end of their concert and went back again, due to the the request of the people inside.

It was too generous of them to sing two more songs, the last one was insisted by the crowd, they were shouting to sing the " One way " which makes the crowd smile. At the end of their concert, they acknowledge God, and that the admiration, the glory only belongs to God. I am so blessed to hear their voice, talent , anointing and dedication. MUSIC THAT I SCAN TODAY

One of the controversial song that Lady gaga  introduce in the market is  her latest  single entitled  Born this way, which give way of little Maria to become instant celebrity over this song. Anyway this song was said to be  a rip of Madonna's Express yourself, most critic claim that the lyrics and content  is almost the same of Madonna's hit single.

And Her Judas song was being criticized for its content, I have not heard it yet when my friend told me about the song, and invite me to view the video on you tube. But this morning I was looking for the official video for Judas song, but most of the comment I read says, it was blocked as it is copy written. But hope this will do, Just the Audio one. One of the comment I read says, the Judas song was meant for his ex -boyfriend whom she loved and have given her all but then, despite the love Gaga give , he betray her three times. What can you say about that?  For me, I still don't like this song, I don't like the content, I could not say more, all I can say is that, let's scan the music content before we patronize it. Music plays a vital role in our life nowadays, and if do not guard the music we listened, unknowingly we become what we love to listen and hear.

CHILL OUT MOMENT

Enough of my complaining and its time for me to chill out, and music is one of my stress buster and therapy whenever I feel stressed out and needs to relax be worry free. It is also my shock absorber , my expression of releasing the angst in me. My type of music depend on my mood, I like metal rock and noisy song when I'm very much consummated of my anger, I used to play jazz fusion when I'm in my silent mode and feel like reflecting alone, it brings me somewhere. Now, I'm planning to have a wall speakers here in my room to fall in love even more in my music therapy. I know it will mean expenses on my part again, but on the other hand it will give me more freedom to enjoy my world.

TAYLOR SWIFT MOMENT OR KANYE WEST?

Oh, I guess the world already know what Kanye West did as Taylor Swift, is having live speech after receiving her award for VMA awards this 2009. Oh my goodness, I was so shocked and felt sorry for Taylor Swift. Imagine while she has the microphone and the crowd is watching her and excited for her speech then someone interrupt her for inappropriate advertisement. Kanye West butt in just to announced that Beyonce has one of the best video for all time ( who cares anyway?) Its Taylor's moments  not Beyonce or or yours. He was so rude, to do that in front of the crowd and to humiliate Taylor. I think people like him, should use his money to enroll in a subject were good moral and right conduct is being taught. He is is losing the character. He must learn to respect other artist too and stop stealing other artist big moments.
