THE REAL MACKOY

Now that the sin tax bill has already been passed, the government has anticipated of the big cut of the smokers to continue their vice as the price hit high. But men, even if the deadly effect the cigars information the government is campaigning the public, still it did not stop the consumers from popping up every time.With regards to the prediction of dropping the number of users, to this moment the number is yet not dropping to what is expected. The battle is still on for a healthy living.

WHY ITS HARD TO LIE

Sharing here a good read from the book body language, that refers to lying and smiles and the body language itself. The author says that : most people believe that when someone is lying they smile more than usual, but research shows the opposite is true- they smile less. The difficulty with lying is that the subconscious mind acts automatically and independently of our verbal lie, so our body language gives us away. This is why people who rarely tell lies are easily caught, regardless of how convincing they may sound. The moment they begin to lie, their body sends out contradictory signals, and these gives us a feeling that they're not telling the truth. During the lie, the subconscious mind sends out nervous energy which appears as a gesture that can contradict what was said. Professional liars , such as politicians, lawyers, actors and television announcers, have refined their body gestures to the point where it is difficult to "see" the lie, and people fall for it, hook, line and sinker.With practice, liars can become convincing just like actors.Interesting Isn't it?

So it is the other way around, what the conventional assumption we have, that liars are the ones that smiles the most. Hmm, now I am convinced that most of the professional liars do practice the moves to perfection. This is scary if this involves choosing the public servant to serve.

BEHIND IMAGINATION

While cleaning my document files today , This file had brought me back my time  when I was yet active in my singles group that we have in the company, How can I forget this  topic  I was the one who reported this in our group. Through this topic I understand more of the power on how visualization works if one is determined to shoot that goal.  And as the genius Albert Einstein said -- Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.

To share the piece of summarization I got from  my archive  taken from the book  for leaders , I wish I have also take note of the author  to give him the credit. Anyway back to the topic of Visualization. As defined, Visualization is the act of creating compelling of vivid pictures in your mind.  Visualization simply makes the brain achieve more. It activates the creative powers of your subconscious mind. It focuses ones brain by programming its reticular activating system to notice available resources that were always there but were previously unnoticed. Visualization magnetizes and attracts you to people, resources, and opportunities you need to achieve your goal.

Here’s more, visualization works to enhance performance. It programs the brain to start letting into awareness anything that will help achieve ones goal. To my personal testing I did this approach and this has been effective to me, I don’t know about you but for my experience it  creates a new level of motivation in my part.  

YOUR FACE IS YOUR ASSET

I use to wonder before why is it that there are some people out there who are prone to face impurities, like pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and acne to mention. They are the one that facial center loves so much, I don't know if you would not agree with me, but I'm sure facial care center gain more income from these people. And also those people who are beauty conscious , they love going to their dermatologist I believe so, even if not necessary , but to those who needs treatment because is suffering from severe acne and other facial impurities, it is wise that they consult a trusted dermatologist for them to check your condition and that your doctor could give you an acne remedy if you need it. Before entering a facial center who promises a remarkably beauty ,I think its still best to go for a personal check up with your derma, before anything else, to avoid trouble in the end.

SAFETY FIRST

Everyday, traveling has become one of my important daily routine in life. My means of transportation is by public jeepney , bus and rail transit. And in everyday that I travel, one of the things I cannot ignore is the increasing numbers of buildings being construct near the high ways making the roads more congested and crowded to look like. I'm not against changes in the city, I believe its  part of  our progress, what I'm more concern about is the safety of the workers that are hands on in the construction. Like for example, the welders,mason and carpenters, they must have a eye gear to protect them from possible accident while they  do their work.

MERRY MONEY

Can you imagine how money smiles these days? they are valuable and loved and kept with care in our pockets , vaults and in bank. We spent money more these days because we buy presents for our loved ones and for ourselves also.Its also tempting to spent on new high tech gadget, dress, shoes and other stuff that gives us boost. 

If we are not going to spent wisely our hard earned money, and let ourselves indulged for good things while we have money in our pockets, then chances are those big malls are going to swept out our money in no time, and when we realized it, I hope it's not yet late for us to account our expenses then shook head when we found out that our budget has exceed our limits. A friendly reminder, let's be wise and be in control, leave the temptation at home, don't bring credit cards when visiting the malls, so you won't go after that red velvet dress that you wish to wear on Christmas.Don't be fool by "ENJOY NOW PAY LATER" . That punch line on some credit card is my motivation not to swipe my card, for me it says "ENJOY NOW THEN SUFFER LATER". Yay!

NINGAS COGON

I went to church this morning, and the topic was about having the Filipino mindset. It was the last subject that the pastor had discussed for this month. The first week teaching was Kanya- Kanya ( Selfishness) , second week was Crab mentality ( I'm not sure with these, as I am having my memory gap right now, sorry ). Third week was about being Machonurin ( Being a figure head of Man in the family ) and in fourth week, its about ningas cogon . Ningas Cogon , definition is starting something but not finishing it. And our pastor was telling us the negative effect of having this attitude. That we should always take full actions and responsibility on things that we started. On our spiritual battle for example. Pastor Robert sample the life of a christian that is new to the congregation , how the christian flame in worshiping God , but as the years went by, that flame deteriorate, Most of us  get back to our old selves. We are just good on the first round but eventually as we get through in the journey, we quit because we don't like to bear pains. Were only good when we received blessing but are not really open to face trials and pains.  I hope I could post more of this topic on my next update. For now I'll just end up here, happy weekend everyone.
